Local communities
Many of the rural populations are poor, with little or no employment in these areas. The start of new game ranches and eco-tourism projects always brings hope to these communities. In general, 3-5 people are employed on a game ranch/ reserve for every 1 on a cattle farm. The involvement of your local community can benefit all parties concerned. As far as possible try and employ staff from these communities. Community involvement is especially important with larger projects.
